DaZhongHua Family Tree Development Association, referred to as DAZUPU, is a non-profit, non-religion, and non-political PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION. It is a registered 501c nonprofit organization ID 02-9779034. It was registered in State of California, USA in 2006 under corporate number C2882206. and also registered in Hong Kong, China in 2012. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for Public purposes. The mission of DAZUPU is to provide an electronic platform to users for the development and investigation of Chinese genealogy. DAZUPU collects and maintains databases of Chinese family trees and allows members to upload and search the databases. Such a platform allows the connection of members not only from within one family, but between families so that roots can be found for mankind. The aim of DAZUPU is to create awareness that all Chinese people share roots, and to achieve worldwide peace and harmony.

中華大族譜協會（DAZUPU）是2006年在美國加州註冊的為公眾服務的非牟利、非宗教、非政治的學術性組織；2012年又在中國香港特別行政區註冊。我們的宗旨是建立一個網上的電子平台， 使它能為華夏子孫能在其上建立家譜及尋根問祖。PhpGedView(PGV) 是目前世界上備受歡迎的多語種網上譜牒平台之一，我們協會自2006年起採用它給會員使用和為社會服務，目前已建立數十個姓氏的數百個譜系，該平台以國際通用的族譜數據交換格式 GEDCOM 上載及下載數據。詳情請訪問該譜系平台 http://www.dazupu.net

為保障系統運作的安全和資料之私隱性，該平台祇限本協會會員使用，在其上建譜並管理所建的譜；祇有社會公眾人物的譜系對公眾開放瀏覽，其他譜系的訪問權一概由譜主掌握，祇容許被授權的用戶瀏覽或使用。所有譜系目前由本協會統一管理，鼓勵各宗親會或海外各建立本姓氏或本地區譜牒資料相應的數據庫，把目前集中於此的譜牒數據分姓氏或本地區管理。我們正在進一步與中國國家圖書館 (NLC) 合作，希望能以 NLC 為基地，匯集本協會及海內外民間採集的家譜數據，逐步建成世界最大最全的【中華家譜數據總庫】，更好地在全球範圍提供社會服務。對本協會有何建議或問題請聯繫我們: info@dazupu.org, 電話：1-916-231-9414
